Job summary

TEEMA seeks a compassionate Caregiver to provide essential personal care and support to patients in homes and centers. Under supervision, you will assist with grooming, mobility, meals, and daily activities to enhance quality of life.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, prioritize safety, and uphold dignity and respect for each patient. California residency and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience working with the elderly or frail population.
• CA Driver's license is required.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Cantonese, or other languages preferred.
• Home Health Aide in the State of California highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and escort assistance based on individual care plans, including grooming, dressing, peri-care, showers, bathing, toileting, housekeeping, meal preparation/feeding, and laundry.
• The report observed changes in patients' conditions in the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate safe practices by using proper body mechanics, adhering to universal precautions, and maintaining environmental safety.
• Interact professionally with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members, encouraging participation in conversations and activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
