Job summary

ACC Family in Alexandria, VA seeks a Homemaker to provide in-home support, light housekeeping, meal prep, and grocery runs. Responsibilities include kitchen and bathroom cleaning, laundry, and helping with daily tasks for elderly clients.

Minimum high school diploma required. Typical daytime hours Monday–Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with two program options offering 30 or 40 hours per week. Reliable transportation and TB test are needed.

Qualifications

• Must be personable, organized, and enjoy assisting the elderly.
• Solid work ethic with initiative for quality and customer service.
• Must be able to provide 2 employment references and a TB test.

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping: dusting, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning.
• Grocery shopping and meal preparation for clients.
• Laundry: washing, drying, folding, and organizing.
• Assistance with daily tasks and maintaining a clean, safe home.
