Care Planning Institute, Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide to support an elderly male client at his home in Carlsbad, NM. The role focuses on bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance to help him remain independent.

The position is long-term and part-time (about 11 hours per week) with a flexible schedule. Pay is $25 per hour ($21 base + $4 bonus) and eligibility for reimbursement of the TB test costs may apply. Training is provided and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is required.
• Training provided for job specifics.
• Background check and TB skin test required if not recently completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and walking to help the client stay independent at home.
• Provide companionship and monitor safety in the home.
• Follow care plan and report changes to supervisor.
