Spay Neuter Clinic of the Carolinas in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to join our compassionate team. Our DVMs collaborate with a supportive team to deliver high-quality care, maintain records, and engage with families.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from AVMA-accredited program.
• State licensure in good standing.
• Ability to obtain DEA/BNDD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs with/without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to detect and diagnose disease.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and collect samples.
• Advise owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications.
• Provide counseling on end-of-life care.
• Maintain medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and policies.
