Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support a young child with Autism Spectrum Disorder in South Abington Township, PA. Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or behavioral needs preferred.
• Comfortable active supervision and community support.
• Able to implement behavioral strategies and maintain safety in various settings.
• Able to support communication through alternative methods.
• Dependable, patient, and able to follow established routines and plans.
• Experience with disabilities not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompts and assistance with daily activities and routines.
• Assist with morning, after school, and weekend routines.
• Support communication using a device, sign language, and nonverbal cues.
• Maintain close supervision and ensure safety at all times.
• Implement positive behavioral supports and redirection strategies.
• Assist with community outings, recreational activities, and social opportunities.
• Engage in sensory activities and outdoor play.
• Reinforce ABA goals and other service strategies.
• Monitor seizure-related concerns and follow safety protocols.
• Support skill development and independence building activities.
• Communicate effectively with family and the Abound Health team.
• Complete required documentation and participate in ongoing training.
