Job summary

Sertoma Center in Knoxville, TN is hiring full-time Caregivers to support residents in home-like settings. You will provide compassionate care, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment for 1–4 individuals per home.

The role offers 12-hour shifts, a starting wage of $16.00 per hour, overtime opportunities, a $1,000 new hire bonus, and comprehensive benefits after 60 days. Prior DSP experience is not required.

Qualifications

• No prior DSP or caregiving experience required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid TN Driver's License.
• US Work Authorization.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• 3 years of driving experience.
• Written and Verbal Bilingual Fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Caregivers are responsible for caring for 1 to 4 persons supported at a time.
• Performs personal and health care related tasks with persons served such as basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, mobilization, medical monitoring, etc.
• Provides documentation of confidential information daily
• Ensures persons served personal safety by maintaining a safe environment
• Fosters a positive relationship between caregiver and person served
• Accompanies persons served to scheduled appointments
