Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (Caregivers) in Redding, CA. You will provide personal care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in residential or community settings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), especially personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal hygiene while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises.
• Ensure a safe home environment and unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities that bring joy and social interaction.
