Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living in Michigan is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live independent, meaningful lives within our community.

As a DSP you’ll assist with daily living, meals, transportation, personal care, documentation, and advocacy in a safe, respectful setting; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Compassionate and dependable.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills and personal care (ADL).
• Support community engagement and recreational activities.
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment.
• Transport individuals to appointments and community activities.
• Administer medications as directed (training provided).
• Maintain accurate documentation and advocate for individuals served.
