Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Home and Community setting in Coraopolis, PA. This role offers meaningful, hands-on support with daily living activities and opportunities to grow within a mission-driven nonprofit.

No experience is required as we provide paid training; all staff share a commitment to dignity, safety, and empowering participants to achieve personal goals and greater independence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills
• Provide community support, transportation
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained)
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs
