Job summary

Indera is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide community habilitation services in Camillus, NY. The role supports a man in his 50s with daily activities, hobbies and community involvement.

Training and guidance are provided by the agency and the individual. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma/GED. Per diem schedule and $21/hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Effective communication and organizational skills required.
• Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
• Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
• Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide community habilitation services in the Camillus, NY area.
• Support a man in his early 50s with daily activities and independence.
• New hires will receive training, support and guidance from both the individual and the agency on service implementation.
