University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers to provide in-home support to clients in Scio Township, MI. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and accompany clients to appointments, ensuring a safe, comfortable home environment.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or healthcare support experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to client care.

• Must pass background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and transferring as needed.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor client health status.
• Assist with housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands as necessary.
• Document care provided accurately and communicate changes in client condition to supervisors.
