All American Home Care LLC in Carbondale, PA is seeking a Direct Caregiver to provide essential support to clients requiring help with daily living activities. You will promote safety, comfort and independence while respecting dignity.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders where allowed, light housekeeping, and reporting changes to the care team. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not always required.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA may be required by state regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility including transferring, repositioning and using mobility aids.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with medication reminders where permitted by regulations.
• Perform light housekeeping duties like laundry, dishes, and tidying living areas.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ condition to appropriate personnel.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.
• Follow care plans and collaborate with family and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
