Job summary

CAREGIVERS FOR INDEPENDENCE LLC in Ohio is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities with daily living tasks and mobility. You will provide direct care, light housekeeping, meal prep, personal hygiene and transportation support, while encouraging independence.

No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. Flexible schedules, holiday/vacation pay, mileage reimbursement, and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Open availability including evenings, overnights and weekends.
• Ability to pass BCII or FBI background check.
• Ability to pass abuser registry and nurse aide registry.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct care for individuals.
• Occasional light housekeeping.
• Some meal preparation.
• Personal hygiene and daily living needs.
• Light transportation.
• Assist with leisure and recreational activities.
• Provide emotional and physical support and monitoring.
