Job summary

Maximum Care Inc is seeking a Direct Care Worker to provide compassionate care to elderly, disabled, and intellectually disabled individuals in Northampton Township, Bucks County. The position offers flexible schedules, competitive compensation, and ongoing education.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, performing light housekeeping, and providing transportation. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to meet physical demands.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to complete a criminal background check.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, dignified care to participants, addressing physical, emotional, and medical needs.
• Assist with daily living activities such as toileting, bathing, feeding, grooming, meal preparation, and meal shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation if required.
• Accompany clients to appointments and provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and engage in stimulating conversation.
• Maintain participants’ property and safety while respecting their privacy and rights.
