Job summary

Spread Your Wings, LLC is seeking a Direct Care Staff member for Supported Living Services in Monterey County. This full-time role covers an afternoon shift from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday through Friday, with an hourly wage of $19.50 and opportunities for growth within a compassionate, client-centered team.

You will help clients develop independent living skills, document progress, and collaborate with a supportive team. Strong communication, reliability, and a driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Able to work in the Monterey County area.
• Pass a background check per state industry standards.
• Digital literacy: MS Word, email, basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients on building independent living skills (e.g., cooking, budgeting, hygiene).
• Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
• Help plan, create, and organize tasks and schedules that promote goal achievement for your clients.
• Provide consistent documentation of progress through case notes.
