Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least one year of relevant supervised work experience with public health, human services or other community service agency OR two years of verifiable successful history working with persons with developmental disabilities.
• Valid AR Driver's License and Valid Auto Insurance.
• HIPAA regulations compliance expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist customers with daily activities (bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, medication, housekeeping).
• Assist with appointments and arrange transportation for errands; act as a companion.
• Help customers achieve goals to improve quality of life and community integration.
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform.
• Observe customer condition and safety; monitor equipment and environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned and demonstrate professional behavior (quality decision making, communication, problem solving).
