Job summary

Northwest Supported Living, Inc. is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist individuals with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to medical appointments.

Candidates must be 18+, able to lift 50 lbs, have a high school diploma or GED, and possess strong communication skills. Training is provided, with benefits after meeting hours requirements and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must pass Washington State Criminal Background Check.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility as needed.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry; keep home comfortable and safe.
• Plan meals, shop for groceries, and prepare/serve meals and snacks.
• Accompany individuals to scheduled medical appointments.
• Assist with self-administration of medications as instructed.
• Document services provided using a computer system.
