Job summary

Lifesteps is seeking compassionate Direct Care Aides to join our Butler, PA team on a steady part-time schedule. No experience is necessary; paid training is provided to help you start helping adults with disabilities in a residential setting.

You will support daily living activities, meals, personal care, transportation to appointments, and engagement in community outings alongside a caring team.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living activities including dressing, meals, bathing, and transportation to appointments
• Prepare meals, clean living areas, and shop for groceries
• Provide personal care, assist with medication administration, and supervise activities
