Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or enrollment in an accredited high school.
• Six months to one-year prior experience in food service or waiting is preferred.
• Requires knowledge of proper table setting and serving and ability to follow procedures. Needs to provide menu selections to Residents, follow dietary restrictions and take accurate orders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room for meals by setting tables, folding napkins, filling water glasses, providing and refilling condiments.
• Assist in food preparation as needed.
• Serve meals to Residents in a courteous and professional manner and clear dishes from tables to kitchen.
• Remove soiled linens from tables and clean and straighten dining room after meals.
