Sunrise Senior Living in San Mateo, California is seeking a Dining Server to provide timely, professional meal service and create a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents and guests. In this role you will take and deliver food and beverage orders, assist residents with menu selections, bus and reset tables, maintain a clean dining room, and complete opening/closing duties.

You will use Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and ensure food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist residents with menu selections and provide general menu descriptions
• Bus and reset tables per community standards
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bistro
• Complete assigned side work and opening/closing duties
• Attend pre-meal meetings to review menu offerings
• Use Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and meal delivery
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
• You help cultivate a hospitable environment by building positive connections and delivering excellent service each shift
