Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Server for Ivy Park at Pleasanton to provide friendly, courteous dining service to residents and guests. You will take orders, enter them into POS, and ensure proper table setup and etiquette in a warm, community-focused setting.

Training will be provided; candidates should be at least 16 with a work permit, possess a HS diploma, and communicate well with residents, families, and staff. This on-site role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with residents, families, and staff.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately take residents' and guests' food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS.
• Set up and break down tables.
• Assure compliance with serving techniques/etiquette and safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
