Piper Shores is a premier nonprofit continuing care retirement community in Maine, offering Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing. Servers provide warm, attentive dining service to residents across multiple venues, with schedules that may be full- or part-time and no late nights.

Up to $22/hour for qualified candidates, $500 sign-on bonus, and no tipped position. Responsibilities include greeting residents, taking orders, serving meals, assisting with food prep and supporting

Qualifications

• Customer service and food service experience preferred; training provided for entry-level.
• Warm, friendly demeanor with seniors and co-workers; courteous and respectful.
• Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to understand instructions in English and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly and respectfully; build relationships aligned with person-centered values.
• Take meal orders accurately and timely, honoring dietary requirements.
• Serve food and beverages in an appealing, sanitary manner with proper portion control.
• Participate in meal preparation, service and clean-up.
• Assist with vegetable, fruit, salad or side preparation; prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages.
• Support residents beyond dining room during events or activities as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean and safe dining environment; follow sanitation protocols.
