Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable, service-oriented candidate preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or healthcare is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food service according to procedures.
• Set up trays and food carts accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely manner.
• Serve residents in dining areas with professionalism and courtesy.
• Ensure dietary preferences and special dietary needs are followed.
• Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation, service, and dining areas.
• Stock supplies and assist with inventory as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
• Report concerns regarding resident nutrition or meal service to the Dietary Manager.
