Job summary

Reserve Care is hiring a non-exempt Food Service Assistant to support patient meals in our Cleveland, OH campus. You will set up and serve meals, wash pots and patient dishes, and help maintain sanitation standards in the kitchen, cafeteria and catering areas.

The schedule is 6:30am-3:00pm, 16 hours per week, including every other weekend. You will work with the clinical team to ensure accuracy of diet orders and deliver meals to patient areas, while providing friendly, compassionate service in

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and carry out instructions.
• Minimum of one year healthcare food service experience preferred.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Patient Food Service and trayline setup.
• Serve hot and cold foods per meal tickets.
• Transport patient trays to wings/pavilions.
• Wash pots/pans and sanitize trayline equipment.
• Wash patient dishes and maintain sanitation standards.
• Operate POS system and reconcile cash drawer.
• Answer phone and process simple diet changes as indicated.
• Other duties as assigned.
