Job summary

Volunteers of America National Services’ Anoka Rehabilitation & Living Center is hiring a Dietary Assistant for the 6:00am–2:30pm full-time AM shift. Starting pay is $19.10 per hour based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth.

You’ll assist with food preparation, interact with residents during meals, and help maintain a clean dining area. VOANS emphasizes compassion, dignity, and quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand procedures used for work assignments, instructions, recipe directions and diet order cards.
• Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assists in food preparation and ensures dining room is ready for service.
• Daily interaction and conversation with residents while serving them meals.
• Cleaning duties.
• Be a friendly face, in this time of need, for our residents
