Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with daily kitchen operations and ensure meals meet dietary needs.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to food safety guidelines, and compassionate resident service. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and possess a ServSafe or Food Handler certification where required by state law.

Qualifications

• Must follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate with occupants, staff and leadership.
• Adhere to COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
