Job summary

Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with our meal services. The ideal candidate loves working with older people and works well both independently and as a team player.

Primary duties include assembling meals, serving residents, dishwashing and general dining room upkeep. Starting pay is $15.00–$15.45 per hour, with hours on weekdays, evenings and weekends. Full-time benefits are available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English with residents and coworkers.
• Dependability and punctuality in a healthcare setting.
• Comfort working in a Christian Retirement Center environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assembly of meals and supplements for Health Center residents, dishwashing, and general clean up.
• Lears various therapeutic diets and applies this knowledge in plate service.
• Delivers plates and other food supplies to the floors.
• Washes dishes and maintains dining room cleanliness.
• Safeguards resident confidentiality and follows HIPAA regulations.
