Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist the Cook in meal preparation and service for residents in our facility.

Responsibilities include following recipes and posted menus, ensuring correct diets, portion control, and proper beverage service. You will help with social dining, maintain hygiene, and adhere to safety and infection-control policies in a 24-hour skilled care environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• License: None required.
• Experience: Experience in working in kitchen of communities or institutions that provide meals to large groups daily is preferred.
• Language Skills: Must read, analyze, and interpret information, and be easily understood in English.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math operations for weights and volumes.

Responsibilities

• Set up trays with dishes, utensils and feeding devices as indicated.
• Prepare hot and cold foods and beverages for residents following recipes and menus.
• Serve food, check allergies, likes/dislikes, and diet instructions on tray cards.
• Assist with social dining and meal service as needed.
• Maintain sanitation, clean utensils and prep areas; follow infection control policies.
