Job summary

Piedmont Post Acute in Piedmont, SC is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to assist in meal prep, service, and kitchen operations for our residents. You will work with the dietary team to ensure meals meet nutritional needs and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or food service preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler’s Certification.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and distribute meal trays according to dietary guidelines.
• Assist with serving meals and beverages to residents.
• Clear trays and operate the dishwasher.
• Monitor and record dishwasher temperature and sanitation levels.
• Prepare snacks and nourishments.
• Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and dining areas.
• Store food and supplies in a safe and organized manner.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist dietary team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
