Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions in Hampton, Virginia, is seeking a Dietary Aide for a nursing facility. You will follow recipe directions, diet orders and tray cards, prepare meals, and serve trays while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

The successful candidate will be patient, compassionate and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with interruptions. Flexibility to work every other weekend is required. We offer PTO and insurance benefits for full-time employees.

• Ability to perform routine tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Patient, tolerant, and compassionate attitude towards residents and team members.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards, and daily work assignments accurately.
• Prepare food items, serve meal trays, and handle soiled dishes with care and attention to hygiene.
• Operate dietary equipment and maintain clean, sanitized work areas in compliance with safety standards.
• Work comfortably around cleaning agents and routine sanitation chemicals.
