Job summary

Generations Healthcare in Tustin, CA, is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. The role supports all food functions in accordance with established policies; the full-time position pays $20 per hour.

Responsibilities include inspecting diet trays, coordinating with the Dietitian, completing forms for Food Services, and ensuring sanitation and safety in food service areas. English literacy, tact, and the ability to follow instructions are required.

Qualifications

• Must deal tactfully with residents, families, staff and visitors.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions; maintain sanitation and safety.

Responsibilities

• Inspect special diet trays to ensure correct diet is served to residents.
• Complete necessary forms and reports and submit to the Director of Food Services.
• Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary.
• Work with the facility’s dietitian and implement recommended changes.
• Ensure food procedures follow established policies; prepare meals per menus.
