Job summary

Serene Health Services is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide for our healthcare facilities in the Midland area. The role supports preparation, service, and cleanup of meals to ensure nutritious options in a clean, welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate works well in a team, follows safety standards, and is committed to excellent service. No heavy lifting beyond 50 lbs; flexible scheduling includes full/part-time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion food items according to menus and dietary requirements.
• Assist with meal tray assembly and meal service.
• Deliver meals and beverages to residents or patients as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Stock food, supplies, and inventory items.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Assist cooks and dietary staff with food preparation tasks.
• Properly store food and monitor temperatures according to regulations.
• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, patients, guests, and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or Supervisor.
