Job summary

Yona is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team in providing warm hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers. You will assist in meal preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean dining environment with strong emphasis on safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities include setting up dining areas, delivering meals, and supporting menu planning under supervision. Prior experience as a dietary aide and good communication are valued in a team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Experience in customer service is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to operate cookware and kitchen appliances.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cookware and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in tracking expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
