Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant is desired.
• Graduation from a Dental Assistant training program/technical school; additional training may substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist and patients with a variety of tasks.
• Prepare patients, provide comfort, and explain procedures.
• Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Ensure instruments are properly sterilized and the treatment area is clean and organized.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Expose and develop diagnostic dental X-rays and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of operatory equipment.
