Notre Dame Health Care Center, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to perform daytime housekeeping and maintenance in our Worcester skilled nursing facility.

You will help keep resident, staff, and visitor areas clean, safe, and orderly, following infection control protocols and approved procedures. Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• 2-5 years housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written, oral or diagrammed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping and maintenance duties in the daytime hours.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Clean resident and employee areas and bathrooms; dust and damp mop floors.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and place back in proper placement.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture and baseboards to maintain a clean environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and take initiative.
