Job summary

Sunflower Communities | Nagel Assisted Living in Waconia, MN is seeking a Caregiver / CNA for the day shift. You will help residents start their day with morning routines, assist with bathing, dressing, and meal prep, and monitor changes in condition while working with a caring team.

The role offers a consistent 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule, every other weekend, and pay between $18.00 and $24.00 per hour based on experience, with a $1.00/hour weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNA/HHA/DSP/Nursing Assistant or Resident Assistant is valuable.
• Willingness to pursue CNA certification is encouraged.
• Ability to be dependable and compassionate with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Support residents living with memory loss.
• Help residents prepare for meals and activities.
• Follow individualized care plans and daily routines.
• Provide companionship and encouragement.
• Notice changes in resident condition and communicate with staff.
