Qualifications

• Must have ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• Cook experience preferred but not required. A willingness to learn is needed.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

• As a Cook, you prepare meals for residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• You ensure the quality and temperature of food items.
• You maintain safety and sanitary conditions and follow company policies and procedures.
• You provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
