Job summary

Senior Solutions Management Group is seeking a full-time housekeeping staff member to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment across residents' rooms, public areas, and offices. The role involves daily cleaning tasks, carpet and floor care, and assistance with dining and activity spaces, with some weekend shifts.

On-the-job training is provided; must be able to communicate in English. This position supports a living environment where confidentiality and resident rights are respected,

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be able to communicate in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Performs the day-to-day housekeeping functions in accordance with established procedures and as assigned by supervision.
• Follows safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies.
• Reports all hazardous equipment or conditions to management.
• Cleans floors including sweeping, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing and disinfecting.
• Cleans carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Cleans and polishes furnishings in hallways, stairways and elevators.
• Cleans resident rooms and bathrooms, vacuums, mops, dusts and disinfects surfaces.
• Collects all trash daily from rooms, offices, lounges and bathrooms.
• Cleans walls, windows and baseboards; maintains cleanliness of windows, cabinets, doors and mirrors.
