Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the team at Palomino Place in Mesquite, TX. You will provide hands-on patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, dignified environment for residents.

Open shifts include 6-2 and 2-10. We offer competitive wages, benefits, CEU reimbursement, and tuition assistance. Must hold active CNA certification and be able to lift and transfer patients safely.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.
• Strong teamwork and patient-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques.
• Monitor, observe, and report changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Accurately document patient care and daily activities in accordance with regulations.
• Support and follow individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment.
• Ensure medical equipment and devices are clean, charged, and functioning properly.
• Participate in shift handoffs, team communication, and ongoing training.
• Follow all state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.
• Promote patient dignity, independence, and safety at all times.
