Job summary

West Haven Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking skilled CNAs to join our compassionate care team. The CNA will interact with patients, providing comfort, assistance with daily living activities, and transportation as needed to support nursing staff and ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, hygiene, Vital signs checks, and adherence to policies and Joint Commission standards. Must hold an up-to-date CNA certificate to be considered.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date CNA certificate required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, deliver meals, help with ambulation and hydration.
• Support patients with personal hygiene, bedpans, baths, shampoos and showers.
• Provide adjunct care such as ice packs, dressings and therapeutic baths.
• Check vital signs and record information in patients' charts.
• Assist nurses and staff as needed, following standards and procedures.
