Job summary

Harborview Health Systems in Augusta, GA is seeking a dedicated CNA to join our compassionate care team. This role supports residents under the supervision of an RN or LPN in a faith-based setting.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, help with mobility, and document changes to support individualized care plans. We emphasize a safe, supportive environment and teamwork to care for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Active CNA certification in good standing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and support residents safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Assist with resident mobility, turning, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
• Assist in the documentation of care and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Support the care team in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
