Job summary

Apploi in Augusta, GA is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our faith-based care team. This role provides direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision, assisting with ADLs and mobility, while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents.

You will document care, monitor vital signs, and contribute to individualized care plans. A state-approved CNA program and active certification are required, in addition to strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required and must be in good standing.
• Completion of an approved CNA training program is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential for resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Assist with resident mobility, turning, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
• Assist in documentation of care and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Support the care team in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
