Job summary

HMG Healthcare in Texas is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You’ll assist residents with daily living activities, monitor comfort and safety, and collaborate with nursing staff to report changes promptly.

Ideal candidates hold a valid CNA certification and state-approved training, possess excellent communication, and comply with health screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification is required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Basic knowledge of patient care techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to pass a background check and health screening requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, accurately and timely.
• Provide mobility assistance to residents, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation support.
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents by following infection control and safety protocols.
• Support nursing staff with medical procedures and documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
