Job summary

Bethesda Health Group in Missouri is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide essential patient care under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. You will assist with hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, safety, and accurate documentation in patient records.

Upon admission you will collect vital signs and orient new residents to the facility and unit, ensuring proper armbands and admission kits are in place. You will respond promptly to call lights, complete rounds, and reposition residents regularly.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Active CNA certification in the state you will be working.
  • CPR certification, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Ability to lift heavy object using proper lifting techniques and with assistance when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and safety as directed.
  • Document vitals, intake and output, and chart in patient records.
  • Orient new residents to the facility and unit and ensure armband and admission kit.
  • Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs.
  • Turn and reposition residents every 2 hours; assist with transfers when needed.
  • Maintain supplies and equipment and report needs to Charge Nurse.
