Job summary

Avera Creighton Care Center is seeking a flexible Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide direct, personal care to residents in our skilled nursing facility. You will help with activities of daily living and support the care team to meet physical, academic, social, and spiritual needs daily.

The role requires CNA certification, strong communication, and the ability to perform routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff. Per diem opportunities may be available to fit staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Essential Qualifications include visual acuity and ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Must have CNA certification/licensing in the state of practice within 120 days.
• Preferred education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility).
• Take vital signs: blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration, weight.
• Document care and changes in patient condition in the chart.
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.
