Job summary

Avir at Seymour is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our long-term facility on a PRN per diem basis. You will assist residents with daily living activities and provide basic care to support their comfort and well‑being.

This role requires Texas CNA certification, flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift and move patients with assistance; BLS is desirable or obtainable within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Texas.
• Ability to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients with assistance (if necessary).
• Basic life support certification (BLS) or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed
• Provide basic care, including vital signs, weight tracking, and specimens collection
• Support residents' mobility and range of motion exercises
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and activities
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction
