Job summary

Tennessee Quality Care in Savannah, TN is seeking compassionate Certified Nurse Aides to provide hands-on personal care for patients recovering from surgery or dealing with health challenges. You will assist with baths, grooming, mobility, and maintaining a clean, safe living area under supervising clinicians.

You will monitor vital signs, assist with medications, and report changes to the nurse or case manager. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Certified nurse aide as required by state.
• Meets state training requirements.
• At least 18 years of age.
• CPR certification or equivalent per agency/state regulations.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care including baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen, dressing assistance, skin care and prevention of skin breakdown, toileting aid, and maintaining living area.
• Record temperatures (oral/temporal/axillary), pulse, respiration, blood pressure when ordered with demonstrated skills.
• Perform simple procedures as an extension of nursing services as ordered with demonstrated skills.
• Assist patients in self-administration of medications.
• Report on patients' condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse or case manager.
