Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed CNA training or enrolled in nursing program with clinical rotation.
• Current BLS from American Heart Association.

• Must be computer-literate and able to read/write basic English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under RN or LPN direction.
• Assist in patient data collection.
• Provide appropriate care to assigned patients.
• Follow Patient's Bill of Rights in care delivery.
• Report patient needs to the nurse promptly.
• Organize patient care appropriately and complete tasks timely.
• Reinforce patient instructions and document in medical record.
• Perform treatments and procedures per hospital policy.
