Job summary

CHI Health Missouri Valley is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to support patient comfort, safety, and recovery under RN direction. You will provide compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and contribute to the patient’s plan of care as part of the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the 75-hour state-approved nursing assistant course.
• Certified Nursing Assistant in IA upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status of patients as part of the nursing process.
• Contribute to the plan of care through observation and data collection.
• Provide basic patient care activities as delegated.
• Observe and communicate patient responses to interventions to the team.
• Document care provided in the patient’s record.
