Mcpherson Hospital, Inc. seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Med/Surg to provide patient-centered care in a relationship-based environment. You will work closely with the professional nurse to support timely, safe, and respectful care.

The role includes obtaining vitals, assisting with meals and hygiene, and documenting intake and output while maintaining dignity and comfort. Eligible candidates will have a CNA license, BLS, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; may include specialized or vocational courses
• Formal training for certified nurse aide course is required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Obtains vital signs to ensure stability of patients.
• Distributes meals and documents intake and output.
• Assists with personal hygiene including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Establishes a safe, comfortable environment to promote healing.
• Responds to call lights promptly and coordinates with team to deliver care.
• Communicates with nursing staff to support coordinated care.
